Making Philadelphia port more secure

Mar 22, 2007 10:32 AM

Enterra Solutions LLC has formed a strategic alliance with Holt Logistics Corp, a port and harbor, cargo, and intermodal transportation services company. Together, the firms will advance the management and technology infrastructure for operations and security at the Port of Philadelphia PA.

These companies will create repeatable systems designed to improve operations and security throughout the transportation sector’s port, intermodal, and warehousing systems.

Terms of the agreement between the parties call for Enterra to deploy its Enterprise Resilience Management Solution and ResilienceNet capability for weapons of mass destruction protection and response at the Packer Avenue Marine Terminal, Philadelphia’s main container facility, and at the distribution and intermodal infrastructure surrounding it. This deployment will make the Port of Philadelphia one of the most efficient and secure port and harbor operators in the United States.
