The American Trucking Associations is seeking nominations for professional truck drivers to serve on the 2009-2010 America’s Road Team.

Sponsored by Volvo Trucks North America, America’s Road Team is a national public outreach program led by a small group of professional truck drivers who share superior driving skills, remarkable safety records, and a strong desire to spread the word about safety on the highway.

For the past 21 years, America’s Road Team captains have traveled the nation educating millions on the importance of safety and of the industry, along with the need for pride and professionalism within trucking. America’s Road Team captains appear at events ranging from driver safety meetings to national truck driving championships to promote the Road Team message: "Safety is our Driving Concern."
