PAR Logistics Management Systems (PAR LMS), a wholly owned subsidiary of PAR Technology Corporation, has been selected by C.R. England, the largest refrigerated trucking company in the nation, to deploy PAR’s RT-200 monitoring system in the Utah-based carrier’s more than 5,000 refrigerated trailers.

In partnership with SkyBitz Inc., PAR began rolling out all 5,000-plus units in December 2008 and will continue to deploy systems throughout the first and second quarters of 2009.

The RT-200 system will allow C.R. England constant real-time visibility and control of its refrigerated trailers across North America. RT-200 will allow for better yields in asset utilization and fuel savings, as well as protecting perishable products.

PAR LMS and Skybitz worked closely with C.R. England throughout autumn 2008 to sharpen features and functions of the RT-200 to satisfy the needs of the carrier.
