Fast Lane Transportation Inc, a provider of intermodal transportation and equipment services throughout California, has acquired an 80-acre intermodal crossdock and equipment depot to serve rail logistics providers, trucking companies, and equipment leasing companies.
The new facility in Adelanto sits just off Interstate 15, 30 miles north of the intermodal rail hub in San Bernardino.
The Adelanto facility has three terminal buildings. Terminal 1 is a 99-door crossdock plus office. Terminal 2 is a 162-door crossdock plus office. Terminal 3 is a 50,000-square-foot maintenance garage plus office. The site offers 9,238 square feet of total office space and 119,025 square feet of total dock area; parking for trailers, equipment, and employees; and 75 acres of yard space.
In addition to the Adelanto facility, Fast Lane operates a 50-acre facility in Wilmington CA for equipment storage, repair, sales, and trucking services at the intersection of Pacific Coast Highway and the Terminal Island Freeway less than three miles from the LA/Long Beach harbor terminals and one mile from the Intermodal Container Transfer Facility (ICTF). Fast Laneís Oakland depot is four miles from the piers.
