Marten Transport Ltd. has appointed Timothy M. Kohl president, effective June 2. He succeeds Randolph L. Marten, who will remain chairman and chief executive. Kohl, who joined the firm in November 2008, previously served as president of Knight Transportation Inc. and also was with Burlington Motor Carriers and J.B. Hunt.
