Andrew Clarke, president and chief executive officer of Panther Expedited Services, announced that Panther has received a General Service Administration (GSA) Schedule 48 contract from the US government.
The contract GS-33F-0036W covers express small package and express heavyweight (451-1), ground small package delivery services (451-2), and temperature-controlled shipments (451-99).
“This contract will enable any government agency to access our world-class portfolio of services,” Clarke said. “Government buyers will be able to quote, book, and track their domestic and international shipments in real time. And because we combine the industry’s best on-time performance with the industry’s lowest claims ratio, government agencies can have confidence their shipments will arrive on time and on target—no exceptions.”
Panther has provided the Department of Defense with time-sensitive and high-security transportation services for more than five years. Clarke called this new contract a “natural extension” of these services to any federal, state, and local agency.
Panther offers single-source capabilities and rate-optimized transportation services to and from locations anywhere in the world. For more details, visit www.pantherexpedite.com.
