The International Refrigerated Transportation Association (IRTA) is now accepting nominations from its membership for the IRTA Executive of the Year Award.

This award will be presented March 31, 2009, at the group’s annual convention in Palm Springs CA during the morning general session.

The purpose of this award is to recognize an individual in the refrigerated transportation industry who has made a significant contribution to the industry by fostering innovation, looking beyond the boundaries of his/her company, resolving industry issues, or improving the industry’s image and efficiency. IRTA members and nonmembers are eligible to be nominated, and more than one person may be nominated. All nominees will be submitted to the IRTA board for a final vote.
