PAM Transportation Services wins award

Tontitown AR-based PAM Transportation Services Inc, which includes refrigerated service at David McNeill Trucking, has received an Environmental Excellence Award from the United States Environmental Protection Agency SmartWay Transport Partnership.
One of 34 companies and organizations in the partnership to receive the honor, PAM was recognized for adopting fuel-saving technologies that saved 20.3 million gallons of fuel, cut carbon dioxide emissions by 225,749 metric tons, lowered particulate matter emissions by 17 tons, and generated savings of $61 million, the EPA said.
