Pilot Flying J will acquire
seven Bosselman facilities

Nov 2, 2011 10:15 AM

Pilot Flying J and Bosselman Travel Centers Inc announced that Pilot Flying J will acquire seven Bosselman travel centers in Iowa, Kansas, South Dakota, and Nebraska. The acquisition is set to close January 5, 2012.

This transaction does not include the Bosselman Travel Center flagship location on Interstate 80 south of Grand Island NE or any other Bosselman businesses.

Pilot Flying J and Bosselman also reached an agreement to expand Bosselman’s truck repair shops (Boss Truck Shops) to 20 additional Pilot Flying J travel centers nationwide.

In 2004, Bosselman Travel Centers and Pilot Travel Centers LLC entered into a trademark license and service agreement for use of Pilot Travel Centers’ trademark at several of the acquired locations. As a result, the same Pilot Flying J brand will be seen on signage at the Interstate facilities. Pilot Flying J plans to add enhanced fast food service offerings, implementation of DEF at the pump, a loyalty program, and improved showers and restrooms at many of these locations.
