Pilgrim's Pride Corp, the Pittsburg TX-based poultry company, has been recognized for outstanding customer service by Fry's Food Stores, a division of the Kroger retail grocery chain.

Fry's presented Pilgrim's Pride with its Outstanding Vendor of the Year Award, which recognizes Fry's suppliers for exceptional customer service and increased category sales. The award was presented to just 10 of Fry's approximately 500 vendors, and Pilgrim's Pride was the only poultry company to receive the award.

The award was presented to Pilgrim's Pride at Fry's annual store managers' conference in Tucson AZ recently.
