Sargento Cheese has again honored Perron Trucking. The carrier recently was awarded the 2008 Sargento Cheese Core Carrier Award for the second year in a row.

The Plymouth WI-based cheese producer grades its core carriers monthly in four different areas: equipment, claims, communication, and on-time delivery. Perron Trucking made 2,775 deliveries for Sargento Cheese, finishing 2008 with a 99.42% on-time delivery rating. A core carrier with Sargento Cheese for eight years, Perron Trucking has won the award five times.
