TCA safety awards

The Truckload Carriers Association (TCA) has honored Rocha Transportation, Modesto, California, and Roehl Transport, Marshfield, Wisconsin, as the grand prize winners of the group’s Annual National Fleet Safety Awards. The competition recognizes companies that have demonstrated an unparalleled commitment to safety.
Rocha Transportation won the award for truckload companies with a total annual mileage under 25 million miles; Roehl Transport for companies with a total annual mileage more than 25 million miles.
The two companies, selected from among 18 division winners, received their awards during the TCA’s recent annual convention.
The top divisional winners in the 33rd Annual National Fleet Safety Awards were:
- Under 5 million miles: Rocha Transportation, Modesto, CA; Crown LSP Group, Rocky Mount, NC; Frerichs Freight Lines, Belleville, IL.
- 5-14.99 million miles: Stone Belt Freight Lines; Shoals, IN; Glass Operating Group; Newkirk, OK; Landstar Gemini; Jacksonville, FL.
- 15-24.99 million miles: Stagecoach Cartage & Distribution; El Paso, TX; Witte Brothers Exchange; Troy, MO; CRST Dedicated Services; Birmingham, AL.
- 25-49.99 million miles: MacKinnon Transport, Guelph, ON; Freymiller, Oklahoma City, OK; Kennesaw Transportation, White, GA.
- 50-99.99 million miles: Carter Express, Anderson, IN; Landstar Inway, Jacksonville, FL; Navajo Express, Denver, CO.
- 100+ million miles: Bison Transport, Winnipeg, MB; Roehl Transport, Marshfield, WI; Hogan Transports, Bridgeton, MO.
