David Kolman has shaped the trucking industry through his extensive hands-on experience as a truck owner and operator and communications professional throughout the past 25 years. His background includes refrigerated fleet management, truck driving,trucking journalism and news broadcasting. An award-winning journalist who maintains his Commercial Drivers License, he is co-founder of the Truck Writers of North America and the Used Truck Association, is a member of Highway Watch, and serves on the board of a number of trucking organizations.

Jay Russel Miller has served as departments editor at Trailer/Body Builders since 1989, handling news release editing and rewriting along with varied production duties. He also has served as a newspaper copy editor, most recently at the Houston Post. He has a Bachelor of Journalism degree from the University of Missouri-Columbia.
