Mack chooses Bendix drum
brakes as standard offering

Bendix Spicer Foundation Brake LLC reports that its Bendix foundation drum brakes are now standard at Mack Trucks for the company’s on-highway and vocational commercial vehicles. 

The company offers more than 32 models of air drum brakes to meet all heavy- and medium-duty truck, tractor, and trailer vehicle applications in North America.

Since its inception in 2004, Bendix Spicer Foundation Brake has remained focused on its efforts to advance its braking technology. Bendix Spicer Foundation Brake offers numerous brake configurations to meet the new National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) reduced stopping distance requirements, including all drum brakes, all disc brakes, or a combination of both. Brake products are commercially available and produced at the company’s wheel-end manufacturing facility in Bowling Green KY.

Bendix Spicer Foundation Brake is a joint venture between Bendix Commercial Vehicle Systems LLC and Dana Commercial Vehicle Products LLC.
