Horton expands Fan Drive
Core Exchange Program

Oct 7, 2010 7:00 AM

Horton Inc has expanded its Fan Drive Core Exchange Program to include all DriveMaster and DM Advantage fan drive cores, including fan drives not currently in the Reman program. Customers can exchange these and certain competitor fan drives for credit toward the purchase of a Horton remanufactured fan drive.

Credit is now available for Horton S, HT/S, DriveMaster, and DM Advantage two-speed and MSC3 fan drives. Competitor fan drives, added to the program in 2009 and eligible for credit, include BorgWarner Kysor K26, Kysor K30, and Cool Logic; Behr controllable viscous; Kit Master Gold Top on/off and two-speed; and Bendix on/off fan drives.

To be eligible for full credit, fan drives must be complete and assembled. Cores, including those from competitive models, will receive partial credit if any components are missing. Cores will be considered for partial credit if sheaves or mounting brackets are damaged in shipment.

Details of the program are outlined in Horton’s Core Acceptance Guide at www.hortonww.com/core.
