Master-Bilt, manufacturer of a full line of commercial refrigeration systems, is celebrating its 70th business anniversary.
The company was founded in a three-car garage in St. Louis MO in 1938 with two friends producing refrigerated coolers for 10-gallon milk cans used on dairy farms. From these beginnings, Master-Bilt has grown to become a manufacturer of a diverse range of refrigeration equipment.
Its line of refrigerated cabinets includes ice cream dipping cabinets, open-air merchandisers, and reach-in cases used in the foodservice, convenience store, and restaurant industries. Also produced are walk-in coolers and freezers ranging in size from 30 square feet to complete refrigerated warehouses. Master-Bilt rounds out its foodservice line with pizza, salad, and sandwich prep tables as well as heater/proofer cabinets.
Master-Bilt, a member of the Standex Food Service Equipment Group, offers its Energy Saver program to helps users quickly identify products that reduce energy usage.
