Oliver Rubber announces price increase

As a result of continuing increases in raw material, energy, and transportation costs, Oliver Rubber Company has increased prices up to 6 percent on its Oliver and MegaMile brand pre-cure and bonding gum products in North America, effective Sept. 15, 2008.

Oliver has a network of Oliver brand licensees throughout North America. It operates a retread rubber production facility in Asheboro NC and a retread equipment division in Salisbury NC. The company, headquartered in Greenville SC, is a wholly owned subsidiary of Michelin North America Inc.
