Sysco Corporation announced that Richard J. Schnieders, its chairman and chief executive officer, has announced his plan to retire June 27, 2009, which is the end of the firm's 2009 fiscal year. To facilitate a smooth transition, he will continue as chairman of the board subsequent to stepping down March 31, 2009, as CEO. Bill DeLaney, Sysco's executive vice president and chief financial officer, has been appointed CEO effective March 31, 2009. Ken Spitler, president and chief operating officer, has been promoted to vice chairman of the board of directors and will continue in his current responsibilities. Delaney will continue to serve as CFO until his replacement is chosen. Both DeLaney and Spitler join the board effective immediately.

After seven years as manager of Canadian sales for Ridewell Suspensions, Gary Wasney is retiring. He has logged more than 40 years in the transportation industry. Stepping into his role as manager of Canadian sales is Claude Sauriol. He comes to Ridewell with more than 20 years of industry experience and expertise in managing technically complex products. Prior to joining Ridewell, Sauriol served as the Canadian aftermarket sales manager for Hendrickson International.

Dana Holding Corporation has announced the appointment of three new executive positions within its commercial truck and off-highway groups. Frank Sheehan was appointed president of international business for Dana's Heavy Vehicle Systems Group. James Wojciehowski was named vice president and general manager of marketing, sales, and service for Dana's Commercial Vehicle Products Group. Brian Couch was named general manager of service and support for Dana Spicer Service Parts. A 34-year veteran with Dana, Sheehan recently served as vice president of global sales, marketing, and product planning for Dana's Commercial Vehicle Systems Group. Wojciehowski will continue his role as vice president and general manager of Dana Service Parts. Couch comes to Dana from Eclipse Aviation, where he was the vice president of business development, services and support.

Accuride Corporation's board of directors has appointed William M. “Bill” Lasky, the firm's president and chief executive officer, to the additional role of chairman of the board, effective immediately. He succeeds Terrence J. “Terry” Keating, who has tendered his resignation as the board's chairman and as a director.

Kimberly Theken, a 13-year trucking industry veteran, has been named the new implementation manager at Tenstreet LLC. Prior to joining Tenstreet, she worked for three years at Arrow Trucking in Tulsa OK as driver personnel manager and supervised the company's recruiting and retention departments.
