Ridewell Suspensions has tapped John E. Millsap to serve as president. He has been vice president for the past four years and has been with the firm nearly 14 years. Millsap replaces John E. Raidel II, who remains chief executive officer.

Eaton Corporation announced that Staci Standen has been named general manager for the Truck Group's NAFTA (North American Free Trade Agreement) Heavy Duty Transmission Division, reporting to Curt Hutchins, president of the Heavy Duty Transmission business. Standen joined Eaton in 1996 and most recently served as the director of business initiatives for the Automotive Group.

Carlisle Companies Inc. has named Carol P. Lowe president of Trail King Industries Inc., effective November 1, 2008. Trail King is Carlisle's specialty heavy-haul trailer manufacturer. Lowe, who joined Carlisle in 2002 as treasurer, will continue to serve as vice president and chief financial officer of Carlisle until November 1. Steven J. Ford has been appointed to succeed Lowe as vice president and CFO and will also provide oversight for the company's legal matters. He joined Carlisle in 1995 as vice president, general counsel, and secretary.

Peterson Manufacturing Company announced that Steve Meagher has been named its new vice president of sales. He succeeds Art Richardson, who is retiring after more than 41 years with the company. No effective date has been announced for the move, as Meagher will be transitioning into his new role in the next several months. Richardson will stay on during this period to ensure a smooth transition. Meagher will move from his current role as president of Transworld Products, a position he has held since joining the wholly owned Peterson subsidiary in 2001. Steve Schmidt will assume Meagher's duties as president of Transworld. Currently serving as Transworld's senior merchandise manager, Schmidt has more than 25 years of sales and marketing experience in the automotive aftermarket.

The Paccar board of directors elected Tom Plimpton vice chairman, effective September 1, 2008. Tom has served 31 years with Paccar and has been president since 2003. The board also elected Jim Cardillo president, effective Sept. 1, 2008. He joined the company in 1990 and has had senior management roles with Peterbilt, DAF, and Paccar's technical centers. Mike Tembreull will be retiring as Paccar vice chairman and director in January 2009.

Kurt Lehmann has joined WABCO Holdings Inc. as vice president, engineering and product development. He comes from Continental Corporation, where he was vice president, systems engineering, at Continental Automotive in Frankfurt, Germany. Christian Wiehen, who has 20 years of engineering experience with WABCO and since 2005 was vice president, product development, has become chief technology officer. Alfred Farha has joined WABCO as chief legal officer and secretary. He previously was general counsel, Europe, at Flextronics, responsible globally for the legal affairs of its automotive business segment.

Utility Trailer Manufacturing Company has appointed John Harris director of purchasing and logistics. Since joining the company in 1988, he has helped enhance design and layout of production facilities and improved vendor relationships within the purchasing department.

Bendix Commercial Vehicle Systems LLC has appointed Robert Legato as vice president of integrated supply chain. Bill Mossing has been promoted to vice president and general manager of modules. Legato comes to Bendix after serving as the vice president of supply chain for the fluid handling group Crane Co. in Kennesaw GA. Mossing most recently filled a dual role as product line director for specialty and actuation products and assistant general manager of Bendix Spicer Foundation Brake LLC, the Bendix wheel-end joint venture with Dana Commercial Vehicle Products LLC.
