ArvinMeritor Inc. has appointed Craig Cartmill general manager-operations for its Commercial Vehicle Aftermarket (CVA) business worldwide. He previously spent 27 years with Daimler Trucks North America, most recently as director of parts distribution operations, where he managed 10 parts distribution centers for Freightliner, Detroit Diesel, and Mitsubishi FUSO. ArvinMeritor has named Terry Livingston as general manager-North America for its CVA business, based in Florence KY. Previously, Livingston held positions of increasing responsibility within ArvinMeritor's Finance group, and most recently, he served as worldwide director-Finance, CVA.
Bridgestone Firestone North American Tire LLC (BFNT) announced two promotions at Bridgestone Bandag Tire Solutions (BBTS). Doyle Bradford, director of strategic channels, will be promoted to vice president-sales for BBTS. Bradford, who will remain based in Nashville TN, replaces Art Campagnoni. Tim Chen, vice president-innovation for BBTS, will become its vice president-marketing. BFNT announced that Singh Ahluwalia, a 32-year veteran of the Bridgestone group of companies and president of Truck and Bus Sales, BBTS, has elected to retire effective March 1, 2009. Ahluwalia, who will also retire from his position as member of the BFNT board of directors, will be succeeded by Kurt Danielson, vice president of marketing, BBTS. Danielson will assume Ahluwalia's duties and move into the position of vice president, sales and marketing, BBTS. To provide a smooth transition, Danielson's appointment is effective November 1.
Jon Jeffries has assumed duties as director of sales and marketing for Hendrickson Trailer Suspension Systems. Formerly director of trailer OEM sales, Jeffries held a number of positions in his 10-year tenure at Hendrickson and has more than 20 years' experience in the transportation industry. He will work out of Indianapolis IN and Canton OH.
John Zehnder has rejoined CSTK Inc. as sales manager for the St. Louis MO operation. In this new role, he will direct the sale of units and aftermarket products, including such products as the Thermo King reefer, TriPac auxiliary power unit, and Go Green Hydrogen Enrichment System. Zehnder's sales team is comprised of Doug Myers, who handles Go Green, TriPac, and aftermarket products; and Dan Graham, who will handle aftermarket parts and services. Mike Ham has transitioned to operations manager.
Eaton Corporation announced that John Sczesny has been named business unit manager-North America for its Light and Medium Duty Transmission Business. He has been with Eaton for more than 26 years and most recently was director of field sales and marketing.
Alcoa Wheel and Transportation Products, a Cleveland OH-based business unit of Alcoa Inc., announces the appointment of Barbara Lampley to CVW director of marketing, Americas. She was most recently with Michelin Tire, where she held the position of director, strategic marketing.
Networkcar announces the addition of Joshua Haims as vice president of finance. He brings leadership experience in corporate settings ranging from start-ups such as Global Centric Networks and Slopecycle to established companies like IBM, Bloomingdales, and KPMG Peat Marwick.
Mark Wallace, president and chief executive officer of Webasto Product North America Inc. (WPNA), has left the company effective October 31, 2008. Fred Olson, member of the WPNA board of directors and former president and CEO of Webasto Roof Systems Inc. of Rochester Hills MI, will assume the role of interim president and CEO for WPNA.
Grand Rock Truck Exhaust Systems has added Ken Zelachowski to its sales force as regional sales manager responsible for customer support and market development. He brings more than 30 years of exhaust experience to Grand Rock.
