Bendix Commercial Vehicle Systems LLC has extended its standard antilock braking system supplier position with Mack Trucks Inc.

ABS-6, the next generation Bendix ABS system, will hold the standard position on select Mack Class 8 highway vehicles beginning in third-quarter 2004.

Bendix ABS is offered in standard and premium configurations to address fleet needs. Benefits include superior traction systems, diagnostic and prognostic capabilities, customization opportunities based on individual fleet or vehicle owner needs, and ease of maintenance through use of familiar components and system architecture.
