Sustained business growth and a positive impact on the local community and its economy highlights Bendix Commercial Vehicle Systems LLC's first 25 years in Huntington IN.

The Bendix Huntington Operations, consisting of three facilities and more than 400 employees, marked its 25th anniversary March 11, 2005.

Bendix is among the top employers in Huntington County and, among payroll taxes and payments to local suppliers, contributes about $13 million per year to the area's economy In addition, Bendix employees and the corporation annually donate tens of thousands of dollars and hundreds of volunteer hours to several local charities, including Kids Kampus, Big Brothers/Big Sisters, and the Huntington County United Way; which received more than $50,000 from Bendix employees each of the past three years.
