TMW Systems has introduced The Dawg, a business activity monitoring tool that acts as a “watchdog” that scans every transaction and automatically flags exceptions so carriers can take immediate corrective action.

The Dawg works in conjunction with ResultsNow by TMW, a web-based performance monitoring application that constantly measures and reports the carrier's performance versus established Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). The Dawg takes the business monitoring process one step further by enabling users to create “alert thresholds” for each KPI based on predetermined acceptable ranges. The tool continuously watches systems for any data points that fall outside the range and immediately sends alerts to managers via e-mail or pop-up messages to notify them of any issues.

With alerts for more than 25 performance criteria, The Dawg can be customized to track other metrics.
