Hendrickson forms aftermarket parts division

Nov 1, 2006 12:00 PM

Hendrickson announces the launch of Hendrickson Parts North America, a stand-alone division for the commercial vehicle parts aftermarket. Plans call for the division to be fully operational by January 2007.

John H Walker, president and chief executive officer of The Boler Co, parent company of Hendrickson, named Paul LaMantia general manager of the aftermarket division. This division will be headquartered at the existing Hendrickson facility in Woodridge IL. LaMantia leads a separate management team with responsibility for the truck, trailer, auxiliary axle, and steel spring aftermarket.

The new structure will provide improved parts availability, reduced lead times, increased product breadth, training and information initiatives, and e-commerce capabilities.

LaMantia reports to Keith Stephenson, chief development officer for The Boler Co and president-international operations for Hendrickson. LaMantia has been with the company since 1999. Before this position, he served in supply chain, operations, and program management leadership positions with Hendrickson Truck Suspension Systems.
