Landa Water Cleaning Systems recently marked the 25th anniversary of its line of electric-powered hot water pressure washers, the PHWS.

There are 16 PHWS models with cleaning power that ranges from 2.5 to 4.8 gallons per minute and from 1,000 to 3,000 pounds per square inch of pressure. All use diesel or heating oil to heat the water, and models operate from various electrical configurations, including 120, 230, 460, and 575 volts.

The PHWS features the Landa industrial, high-pressure pump, which has been engineered to deliver the same output as comparable pumps but at 10% fewer rpm.

Innovations of the PHWS models include:

• Landa's cold-rolled Schedule 80 Duracoil with a five-year warranty.

• Coil is further protected by top and bottom wrap made of stainless steel.

• Slide-out service platform for easy access.

• Automatic time-delay shutdown for protection against operator neglect.

• Spring-loaded, insulated trigger gun with variable-pressure wand for remote operation of the spray, plus remote application of the soap.

• Detergent injection system.

• 50 feet of wire-braid Tuff-Skin hose rated for up to 5800 psi.

• 24-inch safety hose guard for operator protection.

• Tri-lingual operating instructions in English, Spanish, and French.

• Steam combination, adjustable thermostat, magnetic starter, and hour meter.
