Maxon Lift Corp has reduced the overall height of the BMR-A liftgate by 7". The new column and runner design has advantages including broadening the range of industry applications and increased payload.

“The shorter columns will allow the BMR-A to fit on truck bodies with very low clearance levels,” says Brent Stratton, vice-president of sales and marketing at Maxon. “The shorter columns are also ideal for gas bottle operations and stakebed applications where overhang may be an issue.”

With the 7" reduction of the column and runner assemblies of the BMR-A and BMR-A-CS cylinder storage models, the runner covers and lift cylinders were changed accordingly. A Deutsche connector was added to the base of the runner, and the extension plates are now bolted on instead of welded. The new style will enable haulers to increase their load capacity by 80 pounds due to the reduced amount of steel in the liftgate.
