Peterbilt, Kenworth make Spicer LMS systems standard

Dana Corp has announced that Peterbilt Motors Co and Kenworth Truck Co, subsidiaries of Paccar Inc, have elected to offer Dana Spicer LMS hub systems as standard equipment on both drive and steer axles for their North American Class 8 commercial vehicles.

LMS hub systems were previously standard on steer axles for Peterbilt and Kenworth trucks, and now the product is standard on drive axles, as well. Spicer LMS hub systems will be assembled for Peterbilt facilities in Denton TX, Madison TN, and Ste Therese, Quebec; and Kenworth facilities in Renton WA, Chillicothe OH, and Ste Therese.
