Products designed to save money, repairs

Thermo King Corp has introduced two fuel products designed to lower costs and prevent unnecessary repairs.

The Thermo King Fuel Display, a remote fuel level indicator, helps eliminate empty-tank downtime and controls the cost of maintaining fuel levels in unattended storage trailers. The Fuel Display offers two mounting options: corner or flush. Both options can be used on trailers with any brand of refrigeration unit and require a 12-volt power supply. The display screen is designed with high-visibility LEDs and an auto dim feature for easy viewing from both the cab and the yard. Fuel Display is epoxy-sealed for extreme weather protection and includes electronics that eliminate the fuel “sloshing” effect. An integrated sensor kit for Thermo King P-VI and SR-2 (SmartReefer2) controllers that produces alarm codes in low-fuel situations is an option.

The Anti-Siphon Device is an effective, low-cost product used to prevent fuel thefts. Once attached to the fuel receptacle, the device self-locks by catching the bottom of the 3.5" neck to prevent removal. This device has a 60-gallon-per-minute flow rate and is easy to install.
