Sage module helps smooth distribution

Sage Software has added a new Warehouse Automation module to its Sage MAS 500 ERP business management system. The Warehouse Automation module is ideal for distribution companies taking advantage of less expensive wireless networking equipment to improve warehouse operations efficiency. By supporting handheld bar-code scanners and radio frequency (RF) communications with the core Sage MAS 500 ERP system, the Warehouse Automation module greatly improves data entry accuracy.
Also available is the Barcode LabelXpert Designer module for creating bar-code labels for inventory items; packaging cartons and containers; and warehouse racks, shelves, and bins. LabelXpert Designer works with both laser and thermal printers and includes label templates that can be modified, plus the capability to design custom templates. The LabelXpert Designer comes as a standalone module for distributors that need to comply with customer labeling mandates but don't wish to automate their own warehouse.
