Seven-way harness bolsters security

Jan 1, 2005 12:00 PM

Phillips Industries has developed the new Sta-Dry Slim-7 trailer harness system, a molded seven-way connection suitable for any heavy-duty trailer configuration.

All Phillips trailer harness systems have molded connectors between modules with specially designed ribs and O-rings that keep moisture and contaminants from penetrating the electrical system, eliminating corrosion problems. Now, the Sta-Dry Slim-7 harness improves on that design, creating an even more secure connection that needs no additional clamps. The integral design of the Sta-Dry Slim-7 molded connection creates maximum pull-out force associated with trailer harness systems. Some trailer configurations have tight areas where current trailer harness connections won't fit, which leaves them loose enough to potentially disconnect. The Sta-Dry Slim-7 was developed to enable the harness to be threaded through these small openings.
