Shocks help isolate cab from road conditions

Jan 1, 2003 12:00 PM

Manufactured and marketed by Tenneco Automotive, Monroe Gas-Magnum cab shocks enhance driver comfort by delivering a smooth, self-adjusting ride in a range of road conditions.

Unlike conventional cab shocks, Gas-Magnum shocks feature tube and valving technologies engineered for Class 7 and 8 truck cab suspensions. Each nitrogen-charged Gas-Magnum shock uses Monroe's patented PSD (Position-Sensitive Damping) groove tube design to deliver comfort and control. The shock's nitrogen charge ensures a faster, more precise response to road conditions, virtually isolating the truck cab from frame-absorbed road shock and vibration.
