Dave Regnery, previously president of Ingersoll Rand Shared Services and the company's former president of Security and Safety for Europe, the Middle East, and Africa, is the new president of Thermo King Corp, a unit of Ingersoll Rand. He succeeds Ted Fick as Thermo King president. Will Watson has been named OEM sales manager for Thermo King. With more than 15 years of trucking industry experience, he most recently was vice-president of sales and marketing for Auxiliary Power Dynamics LLC. Paulo Wandenkolk is Thermo King's new Central Region director. He joined Ingersoll Rand in November 2004, most recently serving as managing director of its Climate Control Technologies' South America business.
Doug Sanford has assumed duties as vice-president and general manager of Hendrickson Truck Systems Group, the newly formed organization that oversees the former Hendrickson Truck Suspension Systems and Hendrickson Spring. An eight-year veteran of Hendrickson, Sanford served as vice-president and general manager of the former Hendrickson Spring.
Magtec Products (USA) Inc has named Edward “Ed” L Bass as its new vice-president of sales. He most recently spent five years as executive vice-president with the Synaxis Transportation Group.
ArvinMeritor Inc has named Joe Plomin vice-president of the Truck business unit within Commercial Vehicle Systems (CVS), effective immediately. He most recently served as senior vice-president-sales, marketing, and product line management for Remy International in Anderson IN.
Bustin Industrial Products has appointed Nick Whitaker as its new outside salesperson for the South Eastern Region.
SAF-Holland USA Sales has announced that Kevin Motz has joined the Powered Vehicle Systems Sales & Marketing team as an OEM account manager responsible for the Freightliner LLC group. Motz has more than 17 years of experience in national and OEM account positions with Hyundai and Hendrickson, as well as product planning positions with Hendrickson and Chevrolet.
Cadec Global has appointed Doug Frank vice-president-professional services and business development, Frank Moreno vice-president-marketing, and Owen Smith vice-president-sales. Frank was most recently senior vice-president-channel, sales, and business development at Cadec partner Maptuit Corp. Moreno was previously vice-president-marketing for software firm Mindreef. Smith was vice-president-sales and business development for AMSI, a division of Infor Global Solutions.
