M W Supply, a manufacturer of truck and trailer access products, has acquired Bustin Industrial Products, which manufactures walking surface gratings and other safety products.

In 2002, M W Supply acquired the assets of Brownsword Manufacturing. “Brownsword and Bustin have been friendly competitors for over 20 years. Now they are on the same team through M W Supply, which provides a dynamic partnership,” said Mike Williams, president of M W Supply.

M W Supply and Bustin's other products include platforms, ladders, walk ramps, and steps sold nationwide in the commercial, industrial, pharmaceutical, and institutional markets. Bustin recently achieved an “Approved Vendor” status for both United Space Alliance and for NASA.

From Bustin's start as an industrial supplier in the Bronx in the late 1920s, to its turnaround under the previous ownership of Mark and Wendy Lichty, the capability of the company has grown both in scope and in technology.
