Truck tire built to resist short-haul hazards

Nov 1, 2002 12:00 PM

Toyo Tires' new wide-tread M-122 commercial truck tire is designed specifically for local delivery and regional haul use. Engineered using Toyo's DSOC II computer technology, the M-122 provides superior traction on both wet and dry roads with its five-rib tread pattern and 17/32" tread depth.

Stone ejector grooves minimize “stone packing,” which causes damage due to cuts; a sturdy sidewall helps prevent harm from curb impact. The casing has a steel four-belt construction. Toyo Open Cord Construction maximizes bonding of both rubber and steel inside the tire to protect against steel belt corrosion.

The 14-ply M-122 is rated at Load Range G and is offered in these sizes: 11R22.5, 11R24.5, and 295/75R22.5.
