Tuthill suspension gains a little jounce

Sep 1, 2003 12:00 PM

The AR Series air-ride suspension from Tuthill Transport Technologies now offers 6¼" of upward axle travel (jounce). This improves performance in both self-steer axle applications and when straight liftable axles are required.

Other advantages of these suspensions include:

  • 6" pivot bushing engineered to provide better geometry and performance

  • Rey-Align — a one person alignment system lateral stress-reducing axle clamp group connection and specially designed gussets for strength

  • Wider/supportive axle connection

  • 2" longer weld/axle connection

  • More supportive and forgiving axle connection

  • 23,000- to -30,000-lb capacities

  • Compatible with self-steer axle

  • Full warranty available

  • Four lift mechanisms and sliders optional
