At the Preventica trade show in Marseille, France, a jury of Regional Sickness Assurance Board professionals awarded Rite-Hite Corp the Innovation Award for its Global Wheel-Lok vehicle restraint.

The Global Wheel-Lok is a wheel restraint designed to provide safe engagement of a range of trailers, including those with liftgates, drop floors, and low-hanging fenders as well as those with or without Rear Impact Guards (RIGs). Introduced in Europe in 1997, this restraint offers a simple, effective way to help prevent early departure and trailer creep accidents at loading docks.
