acquires EnTire Solutions

TRW Automotive U.S. has purchased Michelin North America’s stake in EnTire Solutions, a joint venture between the two companies.
EnTire Solutions was established in 2003 to develop and manufacture driver-oriented tire pressure monitoring systems and related tools and services for original equipment manufacturers worldwide.
Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
TRW Automotive acquired the stake as part of the company’s commitment to develop its portfolio of electronics systems.
