Unitex has concrete patch for extremes

Oct 1, 2008 12:00 PM

Unitex Chemicals's Pro-Poxy AWP is a new concrete patching solution that quickly cures in all temperatures, even extremely cold conditions such as freezer floors.

A high-strength epoxy-urethane hybrid, it can also be used when repairs need to be done very quickly, such as in high traffic areas in warehouses.

Compared with similar products, Pro-Poxy is said to be stronger and more flexible, having up to 30% tensile elongation. It cures in -20°F to 130°F temperatures, with no halo effect on surrounding concrete.

Repaired areas can be open to traffic in as little as 15 minutes.
