Cummins ISX an option on Cascadia truck

Apr 1, 2009 12:00 PM

Freightliner Trucks announced the availability of the Cummins ISX Series engine as an option for the Freightliner Cascadia 125-inch BBC product line.

When paired with the Cascadia — Freightliner's most aerodynamic and comfortable truck — the Cummins ISX adds to the vehicle's overall power and fuel efficiency. The Cummins ISX is available with power ratings from 400-500 hp and 1,450-1,850 lb/ft torque.

The Cummins ISX joins Detroit Diesel's DD13, DD15, Series 60, and MBE 4000 engines as options for the Cascadia. Combined, Cummins and Freightliner have more than 700 distributors and service points across North America.
