Shaffer carries away a Ryder quality award

Shaffer Trucking, a temperature-controlled truckload carrier based in New Kingstown PA, has won a Carrier Quality Award for 2003 from Ryder System Inc.
This award recognizes excellence through on-time performance, claims handling, customer service, technology applications, economic value, and innovation. Miami FL-based Ryder places more than $2 billion of freight on selected carriers in all modes of transportation.
A division of Crete Carrier Corp, Shaffer won in the Truckload Reefer/Specialized Equipment category.
