Ryder System Inc has launched Ryder Locator, a free smartphone application that helps users easily and quickly find their nearest Ryder truck rental, maintenance, or fueling location in the United States and Canada. With just a touch, users can quickly search for and display nearby Ryder facilities and find out about specific services offered at each location. Whether commercial users need to rent a truck, service a vehicle, refuel, or connect with roadside assistance, Ryder’s easy-to-use mobile locator app puts instant service at their fingertips.

With the Ryder Locator app, searches can be filtered by location (city, state, and/or ZIP code) or service offering (rental, maintenance, or fuel). Once a location is identified, fleet managers can find turn-by-turn directions via a user-friendly map, or use one-touch calling to talk to an on-duty Ryder employee. In addition, the app gives instant access to 24/7 emergency roadside assistance—without having to search for a telephone number. Designed for iPhone, BlackBerry, and Android devices, the Ryder Locator application is free and available immediately on iTunes, Android Market, and BlackBerry App World.
