Shell unveils Rotella T with Triple Protection

SHELL Lubricants' Rotella T motor oil with Triple Protection formulation is designed to meet the new API CJ-4 service category for heavy-duty diesel engine oils, according to Shell officials. It provides significantly lower wear and impressive deposit control and engine cleanliness for pre-2007 truck engines as well as the new engines being introduced in 2007.
The new motor oil reportedly offers on average 50% greater wear protection than the previous formulation, based on engine wear tests done by Shell Lubricants.
