Specialized security company Secure Trailer Lots has opened a new high-security drop lot in Houston TX.

Like the company’s other "safe havens" in Laredo and Parr TX, Atlanta GA, Jacksonville FL, St. Louis MO, and Ontario and Fontana CA, the new lot is designed to protect trucks, trailers, and cargo from theft and tampering.

Cargo and trailers are protected by security practices, yard management procedures, guards, cameras, yard pass software, and online reporting. The company also has a "no exceptions" policy to minimize the opportunity for thieves to exploit security gaps.

In addition to secured parking, Secure Trailers Lots provides drop-lot services and terminal outsourcing. Services include truck, trailer, and container parking and storage, as well as temperature control unit monitoring.

Future safe havens are planned for Arizona, Pennsylvania, Indiana, Illinois, Washington, Utah, South Carolina, Virginia, Michigan, Ohio, and Minnesota.

The Houston drop lot is at 3807 Oates Road.
