ATA safe practices award

Frozen Food Express Industries Inc has won an improvement award in the Truck and Industrial Safety Contests from the American Trucking Associations. This award is given each year to companies that exemplify extraordinary commitment to safety and can be considered among the safest in the industry.

“The competition was fierce this year,” said Susan Chandler, executive director of the ATA Safety Management Council, “and with tightening budgets and lower freight volumes this continued dedication to the mission of fleet and industrial safety is an example for all in the trucking industry to follow.”

“Safety awareness has been, and will continue to be, a fundamental and collective goal of FFE Transportation Services,” said David Hedgpeth, vice-president of risk management, compliance, and safety. “I would particularly like to thank our drivers who, with the encouragement of our management team and staff, make safe practices a focus each and every day.”

Dallas TX-based Frozen Food Express Industries is a temperature-controlled truckload and less-than-truckload carrier with core operations in the transport of temperature-controlled products and perishable goods including food, healthcare, and confectionery products.
