CDL learner permit proposal withdrawn

Apr 1, 2006 12:00 PM

Because of other regulations pertaining to commercial driver license regulations, the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) has withdrawn an earlier proposal related to CDL learner permits, according to information published February 23 in the Federal Register.

FMCSA determined that CDL regulations introduced after the terrorists attacks on the United States in 2001 make the earlier proposal obsolete.
