Integrity Truck Driving School opens in MI

May 1, 2006 12:00 PM

West Michigan CDL professional truck driver training school has opened a third campus, Integrity Truck Driving School Inc, at 12256 Hubbard Street in Livonia MI. The new school joins West Michigan CDL's two other schools in Michigan: Grand Rapids and Bay City.

Mike Birdsall, founder and president of West Michigan CDL, said his truck driving schools' success is based on a rigorous screening process for candidates and strong job placement program.

“We make sure a student applicant has a job lined up even before they even begin classes here,” he said.

Integrity Truck Driving School will begin with one full-time instructor, two trucks, and two trailers operating from a 4,300-square-foot facility.

Currently, West Michigan CDL employs 17 people and owns 17 trucks and 17 trailers used for training. It has graduated more than 1,900 students to be licensed professional truck drivers. The firm offers a full curriculum needed to attain a commercial driver license (CDL), including road and skills testing and classroom instruction conducted by Michigan-licensed instructors.
