Truck Outlook Report service is begun

The new North American Commercial Truck Outlook Report service being launched by FTR Associates in September 2008 will incorporate information provided for the past 20 years by the company to ACT Publications' Commercial Truck Bus and Trailer Industry Outlook. That report is being disbanded at the end of 2008.
This new service from FTR will contain expanded coverage of transportation and logistics issues, freight segmentation, commodity analysis, modal analysis, truck productivity, capacity utilization, and truck unit forecasts.
Eric Starks, president of FTR, said, “FTR has the experience in providing and analyzing the required information to develop clear outlooks for the commercial truck industry, and we wanted to be sure that this expertise continued to be available to industry participants after ACT Publications ceases to publish their report at the end of this year.”
