Volvo keeps backing America's Road Team

Volvo Trucks North America will continue in 2008 its sponsorship of America's Road Team, the trucking industry's image and safety outreach program. Volvo says it is the sole sponsor of the program, founded 20 years ago by the American Trucking Associations.
America's Road Team consists of a group of skilled and articulate professional truck drivers, each with an outstanding driving and safety record. Known as Road Team Captains, they are advocates for highway safety and ambassadors for the trucking industry. They speak regularly to students, local and state officials, regulators, lawmakers, truck drivers, and the general public. Captains also speak with local and national media on highway safety and trucking-related issues.
