Masters Gallery Foods
plans to expand plant

Oct 19, 2007 9:07 AM

Masters Gallery Foods is planning an $8 million expansion of its Plymouth WI packaging and distribution plant, a move that could add as many as 40 new jobs to the cheese producer and distributor’s staff of about 220.

Subject to approval by the Plymouth Plan Commission, this expansion would roughly double the size of the present Masters facility and improve production, warehousing, and shipping/distribution capabilities. Masters anticipates starting site development later in 2007 and finishing the project in late 2008. The present plant was originally constructed in 1989 and underwent an expansion in 2000.

Masters supplies a full line of cheese-related products to grocery chains, wholesalers, and distributors. It also specializes in procuring, aging, and distributing bulk cheeses at a national level.
