National Dairy acquires
Promised Land operations

National Dairy LLC, one of the nation’s largest dairy processing companies, has announced the purchase of all-natural milk processor Promised Land Dairy Distribution Inc.

Victory Partners LLC, a Texas-based financial advisory and private equity firm serving the middle market, represented the owners of Promised Land Dairy in the transaction. Terms were not disclosed.

Promised Land Dairy will continue to operate with the same management team. It distributes through retailers in Texas and 25 other states. Milk is provided by the Just Jersey Co-op, the first single-breed co-operative in the United States. Its all Jersey cow milk product has a naturally higher calcium, protein, nonfat solids, and milk-fat content. Products offered by Promised Land Dairy include white milk, flavored milk, seasonal flavors, half & half, and heavy whipping cream.

National Dairy produces and distributes fluid milk and cream. The company also manufactures and distributes a variety of national and proprietary food brands, including cultured products, cheeses, frozen desserts, butter, and juices. Major dairy brands include Borden’s, Dairy Fresh, Velda Farms, Coburg, Dairymen’s, Cream O’Weber, H Meyer, and Sinton Dairy.
